I’ve had this site up for a couple of months without ever really talking about who I am or where I come from. This is partly because I haven’t had much spare time, and partly because I think I only have three readers (two of whom are puzzle masters who know me through the Car Talk Puzzler, and one of whom is an old friend of mine who knows entirely too much Tolkien for his own good). I could use technology to tell me exactly how many readers I have, but I would never do that, because inevitably the answer would be vaguely depressing.
It’s well past time to emerge from the shadows.
