Merry Christmas, everyone.

I’m starting to learn how the Movable Type system works. I need to figure out how to set up those neat full-page monthly calendars. I also need to get rid of the tiny calendar in the right-hand margin, since there’s no reason for it to exist unless I make more than one post a month. (We have to assume the worst.)

Next up: stylesheets. This page looks terrible. Fortunately, one of my friends from college, Eric Meyer, is the god of CSS, and I’ve been looking for a good excuse to hound him for autographs.

I can’t get my friend John’s computer to turn on anymore. I hope it’s not my fault. I’ve retreated to my 4 year old Powerbook G3.
